Dr Barker and Dr Tubbs history

Our veterinarians have a combined 75 years of practice experience. We are committed to the health and welfare of your small and large animals while being considerate of your time and resources. We provide quality care to companion animals, birds, exotics, and livestock. Dr. Barker also provides emergency and urgent care services during office hours, weekends and most holidays, when his health permits. Dr. Barker and Dr. Tubbs met when they were 12 years old at church events, were roommates while at Auburn, and have maintained their friendship throughout the years. Dr. Tubbs joined ACAC in May of 2020 to assist Dr. Barker while he was recovering from surgery. Dr. Tubbs continues to work at ACAC three to four days per week when he is not working as a consultant across the United States and Canada. ACAC has worked to fill the void left in the community upon the retirement of Dr. David Cain. We are located in the same building, though you might not recognize it after the remodel. We look forward to continuing to take care of your animals that have been cared for in this location for over 50 years.
